I realized I was spending a lot of money on hummus and decided to look at the ingredients and realized...that's it? I can make that myself....so I did.
I bought a $9.99 mini food processor, some chick peas, tahini, garlic and lemon juice. These are the basic ingredients to hummus. Then I decided to spread my wings and give some other flavors a try. I have tried some with cumin, artichoke and roasted red pepper. I can't say that I have a favorite YET!
While trying all kinds of crackers, I think my favorite is a Triscuit. For whatever reason, it works.
So, if anybody has any interesting ideas for me to put together, I am listening!
PS. There is an unfortunate side effect of hummus...bloating and GAS! I am willing to live with it ;)
