Well the old saying that your not supposed to wear white after Labor Day is going out my window! I am going against the rule and wearing white pants and shoes tomorrow. I am going to take a stand and rebel (I am usually a go with the flow kind of girl)!
I tried to do a bit of research as to why this is a longstanding tradition and the only thing I could find is that it signals the end of "summer" and that white clothing won't keep you warm during the winter months. Well, DUH!
Considering I live in Kentucky, we could have winter this week and summer next week. We had 100 degree temperatures on Saturday and here it is Labor Day Monday and the temperature is in the 70's...see my point? So, I am going to get all the use out of my white clothing while I can.
So those of you who have white clothing, unite and go against the flow and wear white tomorrow ;)

You realize you have female ancestors rolling in their graves. Well brought up Southern girls do NOT wear white after Labor Day, say "ain't", or leave the house without the proper undergarments.
